DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for Developers extending, developing and integrating with Project Server 2007. This online, instructor-led course provides a deep dive into using Project Server 2007 as a Developer Platform with numerous code demonstrates and hands-on labs. Concepts and topics include architecture for developers, best practices on programming with Project Server Interface (PSI), extending Project Web Access (PWA), migrating applications and security.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Students who attend this course can expect four days of comprehensive online, instructor-led training with intensive demos and hands-on labs on the Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 system. This is an accelerated course recommended for Project Server 2007 developers. Due to the instructional design of the course, students that participate should feel comfortable interacting in an online virtual classroom environment with communication via telephone and the virtual classroom tools.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is designed to ready developers and architects who need to extend, enhance, and integrate their solutions and systems with Project Server 2007. People who wish to learn about Project Server 2007 as a development platform will also benefit from this training.
STUDENT KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Students who attend this course should have a basic understanding of Project Server 2007 and working knowledge of .NET development such as C#, ASP.NET Web Applications and Web Services, ADO.NET and Visual Studio 2005 or 2008. Prior developer experience with Project Server 2003 is a plus but not a requirement.
CLASS TIME REQUIREMENTS
This is a four day online class where the student will participate in 3 hours of online, instructor-led classroom time including demos and 1 hour of hosted hands-on lab time per day.
CLASSROOM ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
This course is offered as a virtual classroom, which means students attend from their home or office using Live Meeting and a telephone. Requirements to attend this course include: A laptop or desktop machine, a dedicated high-speed internet connection and the ability to dial into a toll free number (US) or international US number for 4 hours/day. Students are expected to review all materials covered each day to facilitate a productive learning and sharing environment. Note: All classes are in English only
CLASSROOM ATTENDANCE RECOMMENDATIONS
Since this is a virtual class where the student will be viewing classroom material via Live Meeting, and interacting with a Hosted Hands-on Lab Environment, we encourage the student to have either two machines (one for Live Meeting and one for hosted Hands-on Labs) or a single machine with dual monitors.
CLASSROOM SIZE
This class is limited to 20 students.
