Due to the instructional design of the course, students that participate should feel comfortable interacting in an online virtual classroom environment with communication via telephone and the virtual classroom tools. |
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is designed to ready a role that we call the IT Professional (also known as the “IT Architect”). This individual is most likely an individual that works in the IT department and needs to gain the core knowledge and skills in how to plan, install, configure and manage a Project Server 2007 deployment. This person usually works closely with the Admin Professional (also known as the “Business Architect”) to successfully implement the solution. This course does not touch on concepts such as business analysis, planning or design of Project Server 2007 implementation from the business process standpoint - refer to the Admin Professional – Functional Implementation and Configuration an EPM Solution (Project Server 2007 Focus) course for further details.
STUDENT KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
A working knowledge of how to install, configure and manage a Project Server 2003 system, plus an understanding of Windows SharePoint Services and SQL Server management is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
